LICENSED ELITE LADIES GET THE GREEN LIGHT TO TAKE PART IN 2017 BESTMED JOCK TOUR

With the International cycling union lifting distance restrictions on ladies racing, the Bestmed Jock Tour will for the first time host elite ladies in the star studded field that lines up for the arduous 3-stage road event which takes place from 15-17 September in Nelspruit this year.

Bestmed-ASG professional, former South African road champion Anli Kachelhoffer welcomed the news and confirmed that she’ll be on the start line. “The maximum daily racing distance for elite ladies has been moved up to 160km and this really is great news for ladies racing,” she said.

We can now take part in a range of road events locally in which were previously disallowed. Having ladies racing over longer distances is really good for the sport and will certainly lift the level of ladies racing.”

ENTRIES FOR THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO 500 RIDERS
